Despite a previous planning application being thrown out by hundreds of objections from local residents Tesco are once again putting forward proposals to build another superstore in Crookes. Not to be bested the Fargate Speaker is once again on the case.

Keep Alpha Mbodi and his family safe in Sheffield

Alpha Mbodi and his family are from eastern Congo. He fled DR Congo with his two sons in 2005, fearing the war there would claim the lives of his family. Unfortunately the family were unable to escape together and he was forced to leave his wife and young daughter behind. Alpha and his sons were accommodated in Sheffield by NASS shortly after their arrival in the UK.

A3 is the best size for the Square Mile map, so for those without A3 printers, there are two A4 versions you can print out and stick together with old-fashioned sticky tape. The map is downloadable as a JPEG or PDF in A4, A3 and split A3 versions, in black and white or colour.
