Be Rubbish

Join the Clandestine Insurgent Rebel Clown Army

CIRCA is the UK's least respected employer, offering a smidgeon of opportunity and large dollops of custard. You will experience a chaotic mix of sounds and colours, and fifteen flavours of doughnut.

Whether it's handling sensitive equipment like a feather duster or working behind the scenes in fart factory, the choices are entirely impractical.

You'll be starting a career like no other, headed for loads of disqualifications, unlimited travel within West Yorkshire, and positions of irresponsibility.

thank you steve we love you too! who said we had to know each other to luuuurve each other? not me...
so a bit more info has been requested, i see. well of course i have to respect the unofficial secrets act, but i can tell you these events took place in leeds city centre, on friday 2nd july.
our first visit was to hillary benn's office, altho poor man missed the fun due to not being there that morning, his colleague was lucky enough to spend some quality clown time with us and couldn't wait to tell him all about it.
the policeman's were very smiley also and much enjoyed the clown checkpoint we set up in the street outside. lots of smiley moments, and one cop even had a strum on our guitar (secretly, of course, when he thought we wasn't looking, ha ha!)
after a brief cavort around the bbc offices, who hadn't seen just jolly entertainment ever, we had a lunch break under a tree, admired the beautiful raindrops falling on our heads, and headed for the army recruitment centre. some of us got a bit lost along the way and found ourselves at leeds city council offices where we befriended two security people and entertained a woman in a very boring looking meeting with some men in suits. she liked us too, i think.
when we got to the army recruitment place we were ever so excited. we had heard all sorts of exciting things about it, like that they have real tanks and guns and march all over the world and not just that but they share that shop with all the lovely sailors and the flying army and everything! of course we wanted to join in with all their fun so we asked them for application forms and stuff.
sadly they did not like us quite as much as some other folk do, i think we were a bit boisterous and maybe scary for them, they're not used to so much pink fur all at once i think. we tried to help them relax, smiling lots and dusting their boots and stuff but they were still not too smiley. when we knew they weren't going to let us join them we decided maybe we should invite them to join us instead, so we set up a recruitment stall of our very own, just outside! that was fun. and guess what? they shut their big metal shutters and went and hid upstairs and then nobody could join their army that day.
well we hope they feel a bit calmer now and their mummies and daddies explained about clowns being their friends. we all had lots of fun outside their building until it got time to go home for our tea, but we couldn't wait to play again so on sunday we went to menwith hill, a big country place with huge balls where we met some of their friends and had more fun. i do love being a clown its lots of fun!

general hilarity

Combat clowns if Iraq salute CIRCA!

Hearty, farty congratulations to all of CIRCA for showing those lovely recruitment chappies that closing early and going off or tea and muffins is infinitely more fun than trying to sign people up for war games.
We must apopopopologise for not being in attendance at Menwith (Men-with huge balls....oooer) but the whole circus was far too busy cleaning the ticks from my botty (do you think we could get a grant for this in future?)

Big up the CIRCA.
