The Times reports that bumbling idiots at the Financial Services Authority are to share out 33 million quid in bonuses between them. Boss Hector Sants says it is absolutely critical to enable them to retain their highly skilled staff, you know the ones who couldn´t spot that rather large debt bubble in the global financial system
These guys just don´t get it do they? They still believe they can preserve their system of lavish bonus payments. They actually believe people are going to stand for it. That we are so bloated and passive that we will just sit back a while longer in awe of these bloated plutocrats.
Brown doesn´t get it either. He said sure we´ve got to fiddle a bit with the system, match bonues to long term performance etc. (It would be interested to talk to the partners of these bankers- i mean does their attachment to the short term extend to the bedroom), but the boys can still go ahead pocket eye watering sums of money whilst Britain falls further down the Unicef lists
As for the FSA, it makes you sick. These pricks have watched over the largest financial scam of all time and they actually believe they´re going to get away with it and more.
