‘A day of events in the exploration and fusion of creative spaces’
Creative Outpost, Burngreave Chapel, Melrose Road, 10th October 2008 10am -10pm
We invite you to come to a friendly, creative, ecological and beautiful environment to connect and work together to make radical and creative things happen.
Bring, share and be your ideas, then meet and discuss over cake and coffee, art, & music.
This is an opportunity to hear the latest information from this inspirational project, plus details of future hopes, aspirations and plans, including open-plan office space, workshops, meeting places, studios and much more, all of which respond to the creative, social & historical aspects which make Burngreave/Sheffield such an exciting and vibrant place to be.
Accompanying this will be workshops and interactive sessions led by industry professionals exploring how individuals and businesses can morph and grow to occupy the space in Sheffield Central Suburbs.
Established visual artists who will be available throughout the event to discuss the subject of creative production and work space will join us, these include;
Susan Gent: Explorations in art and taxidermy.
Patrick Amber: Figures made using redundant and broken toys.
Cassie Limb: Installations, visual journeys, and investigation of self, space and product.
