A Voice from Gaza, Palestine
This Saturday -- 14th July, 12-2pm outside the Town Hall, Sheffield.
Come and join us for leafleting on Saturday -- bring banners if you have any!
The boycott campaign is gathering momentum. So far four UK unions representing two million workers have supported the call for boycott. However, there is already a backlash with anti boycott groups organising feverishly. Saturday's event is a great opportunity for us to make the case strongly to the general public in Sheffield.

A Voice from Gaza, Palestine -- don't miss this event!
Speaker and fundraising falafel night: Saturday 14th July 2007, 7.30pm, St Matthew's meeting rooms, Carver Street, Sheffield. £6.50/£5.
Dr Mona El Farra - fresh from her speech at the UN and speaking tour of the USA, will talk about the current situation in Gaza and about life under Israeli occupation. This will be a great opportunity to hear a fantastic, well informed speaker from Palestine, a personal view on current events, and how people are coping with living in the prison of Gaza. We will be serving delicious homemade, authentic Palestinian food. £6.50/ £5 entry (food included) All profits will go to children's projects in Palestine.
In recent months it has become even harder for Palestinians to get through the Israeli blockade and the UK government is increasingly refusing visas to Palestinian civilians. Please be assured that Dr. El Farra is already in Sheffield and very much looking forward to meeting with you on Saturday.
