George W. Bush is scheduled to visit Britain this November 19-21. Show him
what you think by burning him on your November 5th bonfire instead of Guy
Fawkes !
The Burning Bush campaign (www.burningbush.org.uk) is providing resources
for everyone in the country to join in this protest. Here's what to do:
Send an email of support to
mail@burningbush.org.uk saying which town you
live in - this will help with national press coverage
- Visit the website www.burningbush.org.uk and download a George Bush mask
to put on your "Guy"
- Send a photo of your Guy/George to the website so we can publish it
- Notify your local newspaper what you're doing - there's a sample press
release on the web site - get them to publish a photo of your Guy/George if
possible !
- Leaflet your street or neighbourhood - sample leaflet on the website
- Write to your MP - sample letter on the website
Everyone in the country, young or old, wherever they live, can join this
protest, so let's make it a massive one !
