An Interview with the Sheffield activist Rocky, recorded in February this year. In it he describes his experiences of the Ratcliffe arrests, trials and the Mark Kennedy involvement.
This interview was recorded by the Sheffield IndyRadio team in February this year (2011), the original intention was to include the interview in a Sheffield IndyRadio Collective (SIRC) pod-cast, but owing to the pressures brought on by the by now infamous "Bradford Agreement" of December 2010 it has been impossible to produce a pod cast, so we're releasing the interview with Rocky now as a standalone feature. It is our intention to continue with the pod-cast and if you're interested it getting involved then come and see us at the Sheffield Anarchist Book-fair Indymedia stand this coming weekend.

I'm using a computer with no sound card at the moment. It would have been very interesting to read a summary of the interview, and I find it pretty disturbing that you thought it more important to talk how distracted you are rather than writing one.
serious person
Whinging serious people who needs them?

Hi.
>>I'm using a computer with no sound card at the moment.
Sorry we didn't know ! Is this permanent? or can you download and burn to cd?, or copy the file to a mp3 player? or go round to a mates house?
dunno...
>>It would have been very interesting to read a summary of the interview.
Maybe you could write one when you eventually get to hear this, and post it here as an addition? That'd be useful. Or get involved with SIRC as the summary writer?
>>and I find it pretty disturbing that you thought it more important to talk how distracted you are rather than writing one.
Well if you had experienced the crap associated with the now infamous Bradford agreement then you might know how we feel and be a bit more sympathetic? dunno we actually got off our arses and recorded it, and a load of other stuff over the years, here's a list of stuff you can't listen to at the moment we've posted on radio4all not all of them have summaries sorry about that too.

More important? Those are just the facts, the Bradford agreement crap meant we haven't been able to work on a pod cast or write a summary or do lots of other useful things.
The interview is over half an hour long. It covers the arrests the trials and the involvement of Mark Kennedy as seen from Rocky's perspective that's a summary. Short and to the point I know, but hey!
Disturbing? are you easily disturbed - aren't there more urgent things to be disturbed about or are you in a permanent state of disturbance? Or was this the straw that finally broke your disturbed back?
Anyway huge and frivolous apologies to all those without a sound card at the moment. I hope you all get one soon or can access the file somehow.
And here's a link to Rocky's Road to Ratcliffe so you can find the file if and when you get fixed up with a sound card.
