From: Lincoln AR
Hey Guys,
Hope you’re all well, here are the next lot of exciting events in store!
As you will see a lot of the events are still unconfirmed due to transport issues, as few of us have our own cars/drive so we find this difficult. If anyone can offer a lift or has details on how best to get to certain events please let us know at lincoln-animal-rights@hotmail.co.uk. Thanks!
The Great British Circus is the only circus still touring the country with big cats. As well as tigers and lion cubs, they also have zebras, llamas, horses, pygmy goats, camels. This year they will also have 3 elephants, the first in the UK for over 10 years, including 40-yr old Delhi who has suffered from arthritis for many years.
Skegness GBC demo Saturday 4th April
http://www.veggies.org.uk/event.php?ref=1536
Lincoln-animal-rights@hotmail.co.uk are going to Skegness on Saturday 4th April to demonstrate at the 2pm & 5pm shows, so will be there 1 til 2pm and 4 til 5pm.
Cleethorpes GBC demo Sunday 12th April
http://www.veggies.org.uk/event.php?ref=1042
Lincoln-animal-rights@hotmail.co.uk are going to Cleethorpes for the day to demo against The Jungle Zoo and the GBC.
Again need to look into travel or drivers, any offers or information on how to get there please reply to email.
Why Cleethorpes?
> The Jungle Zoo is a run down building which is home to a overcrowded
> selection of birds, reptiles, domestic animals and monkeys. The housing is
> inadequate with little or no enrichment, the animals lonely, bored and
> depressed. This is a good time to protest here as local businesses are
> starting to complain about the shabby state of this eyesore.
>
> The Great British Circus is currently in the media spotlight for introducing
> 3 elephants and a white tiger to it's degrading acts. Cleethorpes is one of
> their longest runs and they always visit during the school holidays. We need
> to make a strong show against them here.
>
> We are also aware that we have little contact with activists in this area of
> the country and hopefully this could be a chance to spend a bit of time with
> local campaigners in the hope of working together again in the future.
10ish am - arrive in Cleethorpes to protest outside The Jungle Zoo.
12ish pm - vegan bbq / picnic on the beach - so far we also have suggestions for a sand castle competion and frisbee contest. Any other ideas?
2.00ish pm - protest outside the Great British Circus who will be parked about ten mins drive away from the zoo.
Bring banners, placards, leaflets etc... buckets, spades, balls etc
a few quid to chip in for the food or bring cakes, bowls of salad or stuff to share. That would be cool too.
Hopefully there will be transport from Yorkshire. Email animalrightswestyorks@yahoo.com for more details or to offer help with this.
See Captive Animals Protection Society for more information on 'The Jungle Zoo' or 'The Great British Circus'

http://www.veggies.org.uk/event.php?ref=77
For the annual Boycott P&G day Lincoln AR are holding a stall and may be doing something similar to last years event, rabbit costume, cage and evil lab technician! (See photos on myspace). If anyone can help out let us know.
We are also looking to purchase an animal costume to be used by the group for future events. If anyone knows where we can purchase one cheaply, please let me know.
Thanks again!
