This was written with blood donors in mind + will be most effective if supporters can print it out + reproduce (A5 double-sided) for handing to them on their way in or out of collection sessions - something which staff have been forbidden to do. It's obvious management are worried about the great weight + power which donors have as essential to the service, + also concious + opinionated people. So far the NBS directors have succeeded in keeping their brutal plans hidden from donors. Now we need to shatter the illusion of 'business as usual'.
If you can help to give out this leaflet anywhere around the UK it will be very much appreciated by staff. You can find your nearest collection session on teletext or at www.blood.co.uk
The leaflet could also be good to leave in hospital + surgery waiting rooms.
Thanks!

This obviously discriminatory + outdated policy is, obviously, not dictated by shop floor NBS workers! Many staff of all sexualities are strongly opposed to the ban on gay men donating.
The NUS has a 'Donation not Discrimination' campaign underway:

Something extra to hound Martin Gorham with then, at the same time as you write to him about the cuts!
