Why should Jews have to apolagise for Israel. Black people are not expected to apolagise for the wars in Rwanda, The Congo, Somalia or Robert Mugabes' reign of terror in Zimbabwe! Chinese people are also not expected to appolagise for China's 60 year illegal occupation of Tibet either. I also don't see any arabs appolagising for the crimes of Hamas and Hezbollah. Where are the muslims Imans condemning Hezbollah at the pro-Israel rallies?

Hezbollah were formed to resist the israeli occupation of Lebanon and are now fighting to keep Israel out. Same with Hammas during the first intifada although Hammas later split into a political group and a ressistance turned terrorist group. I hate Hammas (military faction) for their methods. But Hezbollah has a track record of aiming for the right targets who are none other than the Israeli army. THey have killed more soldiers than civillians. Israel on the other hand only aims to kil civillians as one can easily tell in Lebanon and Palestine their victims have managed to be over 90% civillian which surpasses by far all other imperialist nations (US/UK/France/Germany etc)

The Rabbi's main point is that it is against the Jewish religion to set up a new Jewish State. Only God or the Messiah can do that. His dream is that the State of Israel will be peacefully dismantled and replaced with a state run by all the inhabitants of Palestine. Jews should live in whatever state they find themselves in, as most do around the world.

He says many Jews support this position and wish to distance themselves from Zionists and the Israeli government who often claim to speak for all Jews.

These people are fantastic! Thank goodness there are Jewish people out there making it clear that there is not a blanket support of the Zionist mission in the Middle East.

Neturei Karta are very orthodox Jews who joined the PLO to express their disagreement with the formation of the state of Israel before their promised Messiah. They are a regular fixture at peace demos and a living example of why even extremists shouldn't generalise. Did you know Iran has a Jewish MP ? Token yet statutory, respected and representative. There are other non-intuitive religious examples in the Lebanon . The Druze for example whose symbol is the NATO symbol painted green, red, yellow, blue and white.

A religious figure is admired for his wisdom and lifestyle.

Contradictory literature surrounds the Druze mainly due to adopted beliefs that were used to protect them from persecutors and due to the rumors and stories of outsiders. For example, it is still unclear to most outsiders whether the Druze follow the same traditions of fasting as Muslims in the month of Ramadan. This is because the Druze have followed these traditions for centuries in order to protect themselves. Many orthodox Druze hold that they should not follow these traditions, but should follow a different fasting tradition still practiced by religious figures instead. The Druze have other fasting traditions, such as fasting during the ten days before Eid ul-Adha, the last night of which is spent in prayer. Roy Harper was an ignorant bigot judging from those lyrics, he should spend more time listening to Eric Bogle and Dick Gaughan and less time listening to David Aaronovitch
and Melanie Phillips.
The "hisbullah scum" jihad that he refers to is the struggle to free their country from violent foriegn occupation. I wonder if Roy Harper thought George Washington was 'scum' for the same reason, or the French resistance were scum for resisting Hitler. The US, UK, Canada, Australia, Israel and the Netherlands list Hezb'Allah as a terrorist organisation - only 6 countries in the entire world.

The problem most jEws have is that they are unaware about what NK really stand for. Most make a quick judgement that NK are bad people without every hearing them speak.
