In the pub last night i overheard 4 guys and i know the location of the upcoming meeting.

If you believe in smashing the nazi BNP like i do then meet me and 2 of my friends who are going to protest at these scum being allowed to hold meeting in my community. i have just found out that my local pub is to be used for this meeting, and i hope they do turn up and are not scared off because i want to let them know that i object to their presence. The disgusting thing is the police say they are "entitled to hold this meeting".
So please help me stop the Nazi BNP, join me at The Fox pub, Robin lane, Beighton. This friday at 7pm.

Hope some others support you Claire. I would be there with you if i was local, and if I hear of similar meetings in Bristol I will do the same, and get some video of the nasty gits.

I believe that most of their supporters are really just poorly informed and harmed by thier background and peers. Talking to many may help, but to those hardcore racists I think abuse may be all they deserve.

Are the pub fully aware of what they're putting on? If not, I'd suggest informing them, and also contacting the brewery, who may not be too pleased about the adverse publicity that hosting the 'master-race' can get for their boozers...

And 'BNP supportter'... if you're so proud to be British, how come you can't even write your own language properly? Dickhead.

As much as I disagree with the BNP and their policies, I can't agree with your actions either. What gives you the right to prevent them from meeting? If they are not participating in or organising violence, then they really have as much right to meet as you.

After all, if I am allowed to stop BNP party members meeting, what's to stop them preventing me meeting with others that share my political viewpoint? Freedom of speech means freedom for everyone, not just those you agree with.

By all means, go along and explain why you disagree. But don't prevent them meeting.

Well, Claire, I didn't know Nick Griffin was going to speak at The Fox but if I had I might well have gone along to listen to him! I don't know whether the meeting in fact went ahead or whether you leftist thugs manage to stop it. If he did speak I imagine Nick Griffin might have said that Beighton, though a poor area, is an area relatively at ease with itself. That is something to be valued at a time when the Blair regime constantly harangues us about modernisation and multiculturalism. We are rapidly getting to the point where nobody is at ease with anything.
Streets of owner occupied terraced housing such as Queens Road and Manvers Road would be ripe for an immigrant takeover. They are too out-of-town and isolated for that fate to have yet befallen them. But make no mistake; if, for example, people of Pakistani origin started to buy properties the effect would be like a match to tinder dry moorland. There would be a white exodus. A few elderly whites might eventually remain but the incomers could (as in a recent example in Rotherham) make them below-market-rate offers for their property or otherwise intimidate them into leaving. Ethnic cleansing would be complete. What would your "community" look like then, Claire? Beighton might then enjoy some of the vibrancy which Tinsley had last summer: of visiting Asian youths using the local streets as a race track for their hire cars. Would you stay or would you up sticks? Most socialists don't practice what they preach; Billy Bragg doesn't live in a bedsit in Burngreave but in a mansion in snow-white Dorset, I seem to recall. It is racist to be prejudiced against people of other races in all circumstances. It is not racist to say that a wholesale influx of immigrants changes the character of a community.
